What storage option should I pick?
I ordered an HP Envy 17t n000 touch laptop but had to return it due to a screen problem. I am planning on reordering in the following days but not sure whether to pick the 1 TB plus 256 GB SSD option or the 4 TB option. I feel like the SSD is a bit overpriced but if I don't get it then the computer will be slow to start as with my returned model. On the other hand the 4 TB sounds very tempting. If I get the 4 TB will I be able to add the m2 ssd and keep the two hard drives?

Envy 17-32XX Fan Replacement Options
I've been looking at replacement options for my dying CPU fan and the only thing I've found so far is a full replacement of the CPU, GPU, and the attached heat pipes. Is this the only option or can I order just the CPU fan somewhere?

HP envy touchsmart 15 part identification
I'm trying to find a replacement for part and I can't find it anywhere. It's the black plastic part that is glued onto the metal case. It runs along the side that the fan blows out of and the fan and a speaker screw into it. The power button is also on it. Is anyone familiar with what this part is? What should it be called and what is the part number? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

HDX9200 ugrade to Nvidia 9800M GTX

Got an HP Envy 17 3200 CTO loaded at the time. Quad core, Radeon HD 7850M, etc.
Well the other day the thing blue screened but froze during that process and the graphics glitches during that screen. Corruption and blocks appeared and disappeared. I was forced to shut it down during the blue screen as something big wasn't working during the crash dump process, it stood at 0%.

HP Envy 17 heatsink question
Hello. I have an Envy 17-1150es with the usual overheating problem. I have already changed its thermal paste twice.
My question is: The heatsink has a section that covers the board capacitors as well (above and to the right on the attached picture, beside the processor section), but it only has a hard-rubber-like substance. It does not get any thermal paste. Does it need to be replaced as well? And how?

Does anyone know of an IPS Matte replacement screen for an Envy 17-3200 CTO? My screen is going bad and I need to replace it. I know the stock panel is a TN panel but I'd like to replace it with an IPS panel with a matte finish. Thanks for any assistance/advice you can offer.

HP Envy 15 3040 - Slow Bootup Time With Windows 10
I bought this back in 2012 running win7. The only thing I modified was doubling the memory from 8 to 16 gigs.
Was never interested in Win 8 so I waited for Win 10. Upgraded rather than "clean install".
So now my "issue" is that it boots very slowly with the new OS. There are times that the screen actually goes blank/black for 2 minutes before it finally fully boots up.
Has anyone else found this to be the case? If so what did you do to speed up this slow boot issue?

ENVY 15t-j000 mSATA SSD + HDD fresh install, with mSATA as boot drive
I was doing a lot of research, and ALMOST returned the laptop because I couldn't figure out a GOOD way to run a 256G mSATA SSD as the boot drive, plus keep the 1TB drive as a separate data drive. I could get it to work if I didn't have an HDD in there at all, or if I had the boot sector on the HDD. Neither solution was acceptable.
